1. OUT OF BOUNDS
a) In or over any boundary ditch, beyond any fence, and
on or beyond any road, bounding the course. A ball which crosses a public road
defined as out of bounds and comes to rest beyond that road is out of bounds,
even though it may lie on another part of the course.
b) Beyond the nearest
inside points at ground level of any white stakes or fence posts indicating the
boundary of the course.
c) In or over the ditch on the right of the 14th
hole during play of that hole.
d) In the Clubhouse enclosure as defined by
the white posts.
2. WATER HAZARDS & LATERAL WATER HAZARDS
a) All ditches and brooks,
other then those bounding the course, are water hazards except where they are
defined as lateral water hazards. Relief is under Rule 26-1 (a, b).

Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red marker posts. Relief is under Rule 26-1
(a,b,c).
3. TREES, BUSHES AND SHRUBS
Trees, bushes or shrubs supported by a stake
or marked by a stake which interferes with a players stance or intended area of
swing shall be deemed an immovable obstruction and relief MUST be taken in
accordance with Rule 24-2.
4. STONES IN BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers ore movable obstructions Rule 24-1
applies.
5. PATHS
All artificially surfaced paths are obstructions and relief may
be obtained under the Rules of Golf. (See 24-2b).
6. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable
obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule
24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction, on or within two club lengths of the
putting green of the hole being played, intervenes on the line of play between
the ball and the hole, then the player may obtain relief without penalty, as
follows:-
If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is
within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted,
cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which a) is not
nearer the hole, b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a hazard or on a
putting green.
